Re: AfricaCom buzz

It is important for event organisers to know what activities that can be carried out from Day 1 all the way towards the last day. If Day 1 does not seem inviting with a sufficiently welcoming response from participants, it is crucial for the organisers to add in new programs that would entice participants from Day 2 onwards. This can help to ensure a full participation rate throughout the entire event. Nobody would want to keep going to an event that could barely provide the content they need.

AfricaCom buzz

This was my first time at AfricaCom and the buzz was fantastic -- it was busy right up to the end of the event and it was clear from the people I talked to that there was a lot of learning taking place and a lot of business being done. It was a really impressive show.

[Disclaimer: I now work for the company that runs AfricaCom but I think anyone else at the event would paint the same picture -- this is also a reflection of what people, mainly from network operators, told me before and during the event.]
