Orange Targets Long-Term Growth in Africa
Thanks for article. These are important developments. You rightly highlight the energy initiative: telecoms helps in other economic infrastructures too e.g. Orange Business Services' extension of Cotecna's vehicle tracking service to Burkina Faso and Senegal using local M2M connectivity, which will help transport sector from fleet management to vehicle distributors.

Energy focus is critical
INteresting to see what Orange is doing in helping remote areas with their sustainable energy needs and for that to be a key part of the operator's strategy for Africa. If Africa is to become a digital continent, then it's going to need ubiquitous and variable power sources, right?
