Facebook Applauds Its 2018 Record in Africa
Facebook has had a trying year -- hardly a week went by without some scandal or another -- but according to the social media giant it's had a fabulous 2018 in Africa!
The company says more than 139 million people across Sub-Saharan Africa use Facebook every month, of which about 98% access the service on a mobile device.
It has developed an infographic to present its African year in "numbers, projects and highlights and learn how we connected people, brands and organisations in Africa throughout 2018." That infographic is below, split into four chunks to make it more accessible.
