The IoT and Smart Cities stream was one of AfricaCom's most popular streams of the week and took an in-depth look at the role of the telco in building a smart city, infrastructure sharing and the roadmap to a smart Cape Town, amongst a whole host of other topics.

We sat down with Accelerate Cape Town's Programme Director, Juliet Prowse, to chat about the organisation's work and key priorities, enabling effective collaboration between enterprise and government, and how their partners are accelerating smart city initiatives in Cape Town.
